Gardens by the Bay (officially opens on 29 June 2012) is a park spanning 101 hectares of reclaimed land in central Singapore, adjacent to the Marina Reservoir. It cost $1.035 billion to to build and $53 million annually to operate.

The park consists of three waterfront gardens: Bay South Garden, Bay East Garden and Bay Central Garden.

Entry to Bay South Garden will be free, with the exception of the cooled conservatories which showcase plants of high conservation value from two of the most endangered habitats in the world.

The Tiger Sky Tower, previously known as Carlsberg Sky Tower, is the highest observation tower in Singapore. It is located in the Imbiah Lookout zone in the centre of Sentosa Island.

Its about 36 floors tall. The tower has a height of 110 metres (360 ft) above ground level or 131 metres above sea level.

Opens 9am to 9pm, it cost S$15 for adults and S$ 10 for child to go up. (Air-conditioned viewing cabin)

There are easily 100,000 tombs at Bukit Brown Cemetry. For history lovers, Bukit Brown is a must visit. Here you can find many interesting tombs of the early pioneers in Singapore, Chinese revolutionaries and many more well known personalities.

Unfortunately, Part of the cemetery would be destroyed as the Singapore government decided to build a highway there by 2014 and subsequently plans to develop the area as a housing estate in 30 years.
