Home Staging in Oc

By: Drew Hartanov

Well, the first thing that comes to mind is; "Why would you ever want to >sell a home in Orange County?" As one of the most beautiful spots in the country, real estate in Orange County is a highly desirable asset. Not only has the area gained national recognition as "The OC" but people who are in the know in the real estate business know Orange County to be one of the most profitable and sought-after areas in the Nation. Anyway, if you have decided to sell your OC home, there are some simple and easy staging tips that can help to streamline any sale and bring more profit at the end of the day.

The first step of any home staging is the removal of excess items that are merely taking up space. Let's face it, if you have not used something in a few months then it's probably not that necessary. Go through your home and find all such items and remove them. This is a perfect time to start your packing early as it will have to be done eventually, right? Clutter is the enemy of a successful home staging as viewers need the room to move about freely and not be distracted by your personal items. They need to be able to easily imagine their possessions in your home and anything that gets in the way of this should go.) This is another reason why the home owner should NOT be present during a showing.)

In arranging your home for a quick and profitable sale make sure that you clean off all horizontal surfaces. Get rid of the excess jars and utensils on the kitchen counters. If you have extra appliances such as toasters, coffee machines and blenders, make sure that they are stowed away to maximize your counter space. The same theory holds true for the bathroom. A spartan appearance allows people to mentally insert their stuff into the available space. The easier it is for buyers to place themselves into your home the easier the sale will be.

The process of staging can easily take place in every room of the home and you can carry the practice over to the home's exterior, where it becomes "curb appeal." Creating curb appeal outside is a little more toil and a little less arranging than staging the interior but that is another article.
