By: Garry Kelkar

A car is meant to run, some times only a few kilometres and sometimes miles after miles. Since it always runs, sometimes up to long distances, it is subject to decay. However, it is not the car that gets damaged altogether; rather, some of the car parts stop working and it affects the smooth functioning of the engine. So, the car needs removal and addition of parts at regular intervals.

It is not that one only needs to remove damaged parts from a used car and add some new. A brand new car may even need addition of car parts immediately after it is bought and taken out of the show room. All that come with the new car are sufficient for run it; but they may not be adequate to provide comfort and make travelling in it fun. Without some parts, the car may also look plain and unattractive.

Some of the car parts are most important. Without these parts, the car will look incomplete. Car mats is one such accessory. Except a few swanky ones, all the other cars do not possess mats on the floor when bought newly. Whereas, mats are very important, without some mats on the floor, there is every possibility that some damage is done to the car. If there is no mat on the car then liquid may penetrate and damage it.

So, it is necessary to put some mats on the floor and keep it protected. Mats are necessary to be kept on the trunk as well. Car parts like mats do double duty in the boot. They keep the trunk protected and also shield the goods against damages caused by jerking and shaking. Apart from this, there are lots of other parts to be added to a car. Some of them may be costly; but most of the car parts are cheap and easily affordable.
