There has been a whole lot of information given out for the public to view on fuel saving techniques especially lately with the high price of gasoline for our automobiles.
A lot of it is very good but a lot of it is also inaccurate. I would like to go over a few of the things that I have found to be simply myths.
Are you one of those people that uses the highest octane in your engine thinking that this will
save you piles of money at the pump. Reality is that you are actually spending more money, not saying that the higher octane fuels don't have any type of performance enhancing qualities, but there has never been a study done that has proven that you will get more miles per gallon with this octane.
How many of you have heard of this one?
Driving with your tailgate down.
This one is almost laughable. There is absolutely no scientific evidence that is documented to prove that this will save you on your fuel consumption. I have written many other articles on fuel saving methods and I only base my findings on fact. I have personally used products that work in the gasoline itself. I find that gas conditioners are the most effective in saving MPG. I use only products that are backed by scientific data to support those claims and statements. I never base anything on myths and theories, only fact. In the world of fuel additives you have to do what is right for your car. I have experimented with different products hoping something's going to work as advertised and
worrying if something's going to harm my engine. So stop
spending countless dollars and wasting your hard earned money on opinions or 'theory'. I have. I now base everything on fact. For More information go to: www.savingbundlesongas.com
