Mercedes-benz Hits the Runway

The Mercedes-Benz fashion week took-off last March 18 and was a completed successfully last March 22, 2007 at the Smashbox Studios in Culver City in Southern California. The said show was one of the industry's major showcases for the year.

The show featured some of the world's best fashion trend setters and gurus as well as some of the industry's freshest talents. The runway was filled with clothes designed by the likes of Juan Carlos Obando, Sue Wong, Voom by Joy Han, Dina Bar-el, the collections of BEBE, Charlotte Solnicki, Ed Hardy, Tart, Joseph Domingo, Alvin Valley, Grail, Rami Kashou, The Monarch Collection, Samora, Anthony Franco, Christian Audigier, the Thrive, Ologo Tissew, Kevan Hall, Literature Noir, AJ Jeans by Anand Jon and other more exciting names.

The show had a couple of venues like the Lightbox, the Main Tent and the Stage One. The five-day event was held from 1 in the afternoon until 8 in the evening. Also in attendance were some of Hollywood's stars like American Idol judge Paula Abdul.

The spotlight however was not focused on the dazzling models and their beautiful outfits but on the new line from European carmaker Mercedes-Benz, which took the show by storm with its ultra-sexy and super hot Mercedes-Benz CLS63.

The newest addition to Mercedes-Benz's lineup of luxurious cars, the CLS63 can pack a lot of torque while delivering the same style and comfort that Mercedes-Benz is known for. The vehicle carries with it a hand-assembled 6.3I 507-horsepower and a V-8 powerplant. This high-class automobile will surely be a hit not only with the race car and sport car junkies but also with the superstars and the trendy, this race-bred derivation which still has the legendary three-edged star on it's the prominent 3-rib is coupled with slick contours, chiseled front apron, side sills and subtle rear lip spoiler and a revolutionary 4-door.

Also included in the Mercedes-Benz 2007 Line-up are the brand's Executive Line, Sport Line and the Rugged Line.
