The Top Ten Reasons to Watch the Nfl This Season

By: Jason Henry

With the kickoff of the 2007/2008 NFL season right around the corner, I thought that I give you MY top 10 reasons why you should watch the NFL this season. So without further ado, I present The Henry Project 10.

Number 10... Peyton Manning trying to break the all time record for audiles called at the line of scrimmage.

Number 9... Larry Johnson becoming the first running back in NFL history to rush for 5,000 yards in one season with just 920 carries. After the season, he thanks his coach Herman Edwards for believing in him...from his hospital bed after he blows out both of his knees in a freak golfing accident.

Number 8... The Dallas Cowboys... No, that's it. You should watch football strictly for the Dallas Cowboys.

Number 7... The Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders.

Number 6... Listening to Tiki Barber discredit the New York Football Giants. He states in an article for The New York Times that the Giants will only win 5 games this season. You know, since they no longer have Frank Gifford at tight end and Lawrence Taylor at linebacker.

Number 5... Trying to fathom why Joey Harrington is the new quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons and not Michael Vick. And what happened to that Jim Mora Jr. guy?

Number 4... Chad Johnson sound bites...

Number 3... The NFL Playoffs....

Number 2... NFL grudge match of the year, The Oakland Raiders vs. The Cleveland Browns in a classic shootout. Raiders win 2-0 when Warren Sapp sacks Browns quarterback Brady Quinn for a safety in OT.

And the number 1 reason as to why you should watch the NFL this season...
