The Internet we'd all agree is more a boon than a bane. But sometimes, as we well know, it can be a right royal pain to figure it out without losing too much money, and faith in the justice of the world, along the way. If you were to type in the word "quick money" on Google, the number of websites that would pop up is simply enormous. The Internet is to the twentieth century what speculation on the 'Change was to adventurous nineteenth century businessmen - quick, easy money with very little effort needed to make it. Of course, since we are notorious as a race for being unable to learn from our mistakes no matter how many times we repeat them, the Internet is as good a place as any for the eager, untried sort to lose copious amounts of money to unscrupulous "get-rich-quick" schemes.
But of course, as with anything else, a generalization leaves the exceptions with the short end of the stick. Contrary to popular opinion, there really are a few [I repeat, a FEW] websites in that virtual jungle out there that do deliver what they promise to. The trick lies in spotting the difference between an impossible promise and one that's so simple that it sounds too good to be true. And just how does one do that when everything's in front of you on a cold, inhuman computer screen, and you can't look it straight in the eye to determine whether it is lying to you or not? The answer is simple - you can't. But you can turn the sheer objectivity of such online business deals to your advantage. Generating traffic to your website and making money simply by surfing other people's ads sounds exactly like one of those shifty schemes that you should avoid, doesn't it? After all, why would anyone pay you for viewing 24 advertisements a day? Amazingly enough, it makes sense if you just understand the principle behind it! So how does it work? Well, first, you need to have a website to promote. As a "free" member, you will be able to simply promote your website by surfing advertisements -but this option doesn't get you any money. In order to earn, as with any other money-making ventures, you would need to make a small investment to upgrade your membership status: you purchase what is called an "ad package" to promote your website. Once this simple first step is accomplished, you can begin to earn your way up the ladder, as it were. All that is required of you is that you view 24 advertisements a day. You earn more ad packages, of a certain value and once you reach a particular level, say $ 10 worth of ad packages, you can opt for a "cash out" i.e., have the money paid to your account. As it stands, this is a two-fold earning scheme - not only do you directly earn money, you're also earning free promotion for your website through the ad packages that are awarded to you daily. Why would you be paid, you ask? Well, think about it. Advertisements are created to be viewed. That's the whole point of them - they're made to be watched and hopefully leave enough of an impact on your mind that you will, at some point, happen to pick up the product or service they advertise and decide to try it. The more ads you watch, the more probable it is that one of them will stick in your mind and nag you enough to make you spend some of that hard-earned money. Therefore, paying you to watch ads [and help you advertise as well] makes perfect sense in the long run! Get-rich-even-when-doing-nothing schemes are not to be toyed with, at any cost. But taking advantage of opportunities to promote yourself and make a little money aren't all that unreliable. As said before, the trick lies in choosing something that works on a simple principle and is viable in the real world! |
