Three Mobile Phone Deals

By: Gary Parsons

We were first introduced to Three's Mobile Network in 2003 when they raced to beat all others in supplying the new 3G service, being the first network that would give their customers the option to use their mobile phones for more than just text and talk.

One of the reasons that Three has been so successful is down to their constant innovation, working with third parties to launch great new services. The first of these services was the streaming of the Grand National in 2005, making this and similar services one of the things that made this network so popular.

Although the majority of the mobile phone deals offered by Three last 18 month plans, they still do fall into 4 distinct categories of tariffs to suit each particular type of customer.

- Video & Talk & Text

The plans offered within this category are designed for users who will make a medium volume of calls, compared to text messages and is probably Three's most standard plan. On a 12 month contract you can pay between ?17.50 and ?50, all which are currently half price.

- Direct Talker

The plans offered within this category are designed for users who are likely to make more voice and video calls than those who mainly send text messages. There is presently only one option for users wanting this service, costing ?35 on a 12 month plan and includes ?5 of free downloads.

- ?Direct Texter

The plans offered within this category are designed for users who are likely to send more text messages than making voice and video calls. There is presently only one option for users wanting to opt for this, costing ?35 on a 12 month plan and includes ?5 of free downloads.

- Web & Office

The plans offered within this category are designed for users who want to access the internet and are unlikely to send any messages or make any voice calls.
