From the 23rd to the 26th October professionals, winemakers and wine lovers meet at the Business Design Center to taste their favourite drink, get to know the latest innovations and the greatest experts in the field. The Wine Show will start with an opening night which is expected to be a great event, featuring red carpet, live music and entertainments, to introduce a feast based on taste. And it is for this feature of the fair, taste, that the Wine Show becomes every year the ideal place for more that 15,000 visitors, attracted by the opportunity to buy bottles of prestigious wine (what about buying some Christmas presents in advance?), coming from all over the world, from Italy to Argentina, or of get to know more about and learn to buy the right bottle for each occasion. During the show everyone will have the possibility to keep themselves update about the grapes, regions and wines which are more appreciated at the moment and, apart from buying, visitors will also have the possibility to taste more than 1,000 different wines, in rooms characterised by a relaxing atmosphere, which make the Wine Show an ideal place to enjoy a drink with friends or colleagues after work. And it will not be simply about tasting: visitors, indeed, will know what they will be drinking thanks to the explanations of the experts who will guide them through a wine walk (among them, Oz Clarke, Matt Skinner, Tim Atkin, Robert Joseph, Susy Atkins and Chris Scott). If you prefer to have a total relax, you will have the possibility to follow a sort of lesson about wine thanks to the tasting theatre, where wine lovers will be sitting and tasting various types of wine, while some experts will explain them the peculiarities of what they will be drinking. For the ones who love to play the organisers have created an interactive competition, and the winners will receive interesting prizes, such as a weekend in the Rhône Valley, but all participants will receive a nice gift. The Wine Show is an important event not only for visitors, but also for wine makers, who consider the fair as a very important showcase for their products, which during the show can be discovered and appreciated by thousands of people. In particular, the wine market is an interesting section for smaller producers, who have the opportunity to show and sell their products to many people. This market has been very successful, and has been appreciated both by smaller producers, who have grabbed the chance to promote themselves, and by visitors, who can buy good and out-of-the ordinary wines and at the same time they do not have to spend too much. For four days London, capital city music, art and fashion, becomes also the capital city of wine. If you do not want to miss the Wine Show, but you do not want to spend too much, you can book one of the several budget hostels of the city.
