I went Emicakes Kovan on Good Friday to order a birthday cake for my wife. When we went there the sales assistant was a part time helper who could not help me at all as I wanted to order a cake that was 40 cm by 60 cm. he was not able to give me the price and he called his boss to make the enquiry. All his boss said was he would get back to the sales assistant. I decided to drop in in the evening again and there was another sales assistant. She called the boss but he made no attempt to speak to me nor bother to call me. What kind of service is this? If a customer bothers to go back to the outlet twice in a dayl, it shows that he is sincere about ordering the cake. I believe the franchise was sold about a couple of years ago and I was a regular customer of the old franchisee. Last year I was attended to by the new franchisee and the cake I ordered cost about $500+ . I cannot believe the attitude shown by the present boss as well as the lady sales assistant. I did not even get an apology for coming down twice. In the end I decided to go to another Emicakes outlet to place my order. I'm sorry to say that I was totally disappointed by the service standard shown. Wee Y.P.
