went down for dinner at the greenhouse cafe recently. I ordered the smoke salmon with pasta and i think the food was not too bad and the portion was relatively generous. after that i ordered the new york cheesecake for dessert and i think it was really nice. the cake had a rich cheese taste and it complement very well with the raspberry glazing
went down for dinner with my girlfriend for dinner since she always wanted to try this cafe. i ordered the steak which comes with the small baked potato. my girlfriend was so fascinated when she saw the serving plates which had a cottage look. as for the food, i think they were not fantastic but still above average. the steak was quite juicy and tender though we asked for well done and it blend well with the sauce
After making reservations in advance, we decided to come to the Greenhouse Cafe for dinner. I ordered the vegetarian pasta. To my delight, it was filled with a generous amount of vegetables such as cauliflower, carrots, mushrooms and broccoli. I was quite impressed as most eateries do not usually put in so many ingredients. The pasta was served piping hot and the portion was generous as well. The dish was also slightly spicy which gave it that extra boost of flavor! Customers are also allowed to turn their dish into a set for a small amount of money. The set includes a drink as well as the soup of the day. Customers can also top up once again for dessert.
Tried the oreo cheesecake at Greenhouse cafe. Speaking about greenhouse cafe, you should know that the place is feel with greenery. Yes that\'s right, the place is filled with flowers. The swings chairs and dining table really enticed me alot. I like the environment alot.
However their food are not really worth the price, it\'s about almost 20 bucks for their main course. It\'s not worth the value because the food are just typically simple and the soup tasted like it was from can food. The cheesecake wasn\'t that bad though however personally, i prefer the bakerzin\'s one.
It\'s a romantic place for couple to visit or if you have kids, you can bring them there. I\'m sure the swings will interest them alot!Spending: Approximately SGD 20(Dinner)
When i first saw this restaurant I was captured by the swing benches that were in the cafe! Immediately me and my friends went to this cafe when we wanted to celebrate a friend birthday
Firstly, the singer was very good thus it did uplift the ambiance of the place.
However the food was rather dissapointing as it was cold but overall i would say it is not bad(:
the place is situated at a small corner of 313 and it is indeed cozy for a group gathering.Spending: Approximately SGD 20(Lunch)
Randomly passed by Vivo city and saw this cafe at the corner of the entrance to Vivo city. This cafe is rather small but with a nice decoration i would say.i ordered a set meal, included of a soup of the day, main course and dessert. The main course i had is this chicken chop rice. The chicken chop is crispy but a little too dry for my liking as they wasn\'t come with any sauces. The side dish is a salad and i would say is just okay as it was not really that impressive. However the general dinning experience at green house with the lovely, affordable price is worth to pay for another visit.
This is the first cafe that greets us as we cross over to 313 somerset from Triple one 111. As we were hungry and looking at the menu outside, the waitress usher us in. As we walked down the stairs, we thought we went to the wrong place as it\'s a florist selling fresh flowers. However, as the waitress lead us further in, we were in for a surprise! It\'s a florist cum cafe! The seats were not ordinary seats but swings that really can swing on and lots of flowers were used in the decorations. It\'s like dining in an indoor garden. The whole environment was so tranquil and peaceful. Surprisingly, it\'s not that crowded even though it\'s dinner time and we listened to music from Michael Buble - Quando, Quando, Quando and other nice songs.
Under such a nice environment, the appetite and mood for eating also increase. I must say, their food is truly delicious. Top up about $2.50 or $3.50 to get a set meal which include soup of the day and ice-cream for desserts. Their soup arrived piping hot and creamy. My bacon aglio olio is an enjoyable dish to eat. The spaghetti is soak up with the taste of the bacon. The potion is just nice and it\'s not overly spicy even with the chili padi added in it. The chef was mindful to remove the seeds of the chili padi. Ice-cream is yummy too.
Felt super satisfied with this meal and the concept of this cafe would make it a good place for couples too.Spending: Approximately SGD 15(Dinner)

i totally wanted to sit at the cute swing seat in greenhouse cafe! but it was taken when i went there xP this cafe has a really interesting concept - it\'s actually located within a florist store! Pocket Full of Posies + Greenhouse Cafe.
the NZ Sirloin Steak ($22.90) was nicely done and drizzled with a red wine black pepper sauce/ mushroom brown sauce.
i loved the montana grilled chicken ($16) - it was grilled perfectly till the meat was tender and springy, and the special honey mustard sauce was wonderful! sweet and sour, it was so nice (:
i ate the freshly baked italian lagsane ($13.90). minced beef layered between layers of lagsane skin and covered with an oozy layer of mozzarella cheese (: comfort food
the ham & cheese fettuccine carbonara ($14.90) was done al dente, with each strand springy and coated with the cheesy sauce. but i can never finish a whole plate myself.
the drinks were supposed to be a special feature of the restaurant! - supposedly flower drinks! was it meant to be real? that\'s what i thought i but i was disappointed. all were simply overly-sweet drinks (after stirring) which didnt taste all that great. the exception would probably be the ice blended marguerite which i liked because of the lychee.
the service staff seemed a little angsty haha, i wonder why?
It\'s an interesting cafe that is located inside a florist. What\'s more interesting is that they have the swing seats, so you can sit and swing as you eat. It\'s also a plus point that we can enjoy looking at the beautiful bouquets as we dine.
They serve western food, however we were only there for a break, so we did not try out the main course.
We ordered a cake and drinks. The cake is ok, not bad. But their special blend flora tea drink is nice.
The Service was really good. My mum was still holding on to her ice cream that she bought from other shop, so we were abit hesitant to go in. But when the waitress sees us, she welcomes us and say it\'s ok to bring in to enjoy it. Also, they provide refill of hot water for the hot tea we ordered.
I will definitely go back again, maybe to try the mains when I have the chance. Spending: Approximately SGD 10(Other)
