Expect to pay premium prices for a resale flat at The Premiere, located at Tampines Avenue 6.

They are the first batch of flats under the Design, Build and Sell Scheme (DBSS) by a private developer. 

These HDB flats have been put up on the resale market after reaching the minimum occupancy period of five years. 

5 years ago, these 5-room flats have been sold to buyers at a cost of $308,000 to $450,000. 
Now these owners are demanding for prices starting from $650,000, up to $780,000.

That is almost $200,000 more than other 5 room apartments in the vicinity area!

Would you pay that amount for a flat that is supposedly of 'higher quality' than 'normal' HDB flats out there?
