For one glorious weekend, November 18 th and 19 th , the Fort Canning Centre is turned into an new age enclave of yoga enthusiats, meditators and organic food devotees. It is being billed as “A Unique One Stop Event”, that will allow you to work on your breathing, listen to tranquil music and check on your planetary alignment. Yes. For one weekend Fort Canning will be turned into Berkeley , California ! Not even the Governator can stop this one.

Boost your health, luck and prosperity at the Holistic Living Wellness Weekend.

Since it began in 2002, the Holistic Living Festival has won a place in the Singapore calendar as a unique one stop event, where visitors can discover all that is new in the world of wellness, personal development, alternative medicine and spirituality.

The ninth Holistic Living event will take place at Fort Canning Centre on 18 & 19 November. Over 50 exhibitors from seven countries are taking part with at least a third will being new to it. Many exciting new products and services will be featured in Singapore for the first time.

In the first time exhibitors will be: Alce Nero with Italy ’s most popular organic foods, Gabrielle Hart the Queensland author of The Peacemaker’s Way, The New Age Shop from Hong Kong , Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center , Solar Wind from the UK , GMCKS Pranic Healing, Basic Health & Beauty, Earth Retreat Wellness Sanctuary and Nature’s Defence (introducing Salvestrols supplements).

Among the companies and organizations participating will be: Aromatherapy, Body Work, Complementary Medicine, Energy and Alternative Healing, Feng Shui, Health and Organic Foods, Natural Body & Skin Care Products, New Age Shops, Psychics and Readings , Spas and Massager, Yoga and much more.

  • 2pm : Guided Meditation
    Christine Amala Hayes of The New Age Shop in Hong Kong channels the tones and energy of the Mother Whales for transformation and change.
  • 3pm : Authentically You
    Heidi Heron, a principal trainer with the Worldwide Institutes of NLP will share tools and strategies from Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) about how to live your life in a congruent and authentic way.
  • 4pm : Health in your Hands - through Pranic Healing
    Pranic Healing is a highly developed and tested system of energy healing that utilises vital life-force or "prana" to heal physical and emotional ailments.
  • 5pm : The Peacemaker’s Way
    Queensland author Gabrielle Hart incorporates both scientific and spiritual principles to assist everyone in creating lasting change in their lives. She introduces The Peacemaker’s Way, her new book.
  • 6pm : The Healing Sounds of Singing Bowls
    Festival favourites Santa R Shakya and Shree K Shahi from Nepal will demonstrate the healing sounds of Tibetan Singing Bowls.

    UK based Electro-stress specialist Rosemary Innes discusses physical and environmental levels of electro-stress and offers solutions.
  • 4pm : Eat your way to ideal weight and keep it off!
    Learn how by just eating right you can help yourself to ideal weight and improve your overall health. Presented by G. Saravanan from the Centre of Integrated Medicine.
  • 5pm : The Rave Diet – What and Why
    Expose the myths behind meat consumption and learn why moving towards a plant-based diet promotes health for all. Presented by Loh Yeow Nguan, Education Officer, Vegetarian Society ( Singapore).
