You Can Do Much More At Car Shows Than Merely Look At Cars

By: Gregg Hall

There is so much that you can do other then just sit there and look at your car. You can go do all the other things at the car that the car show has to offer. Usually there is food, music and a rock wall for the kids.

Many car shows want someone to be able to demonstrate just exactly what goes on under the hood and how much work goes on under the hood. That is just under the hood there is so much other areas of the cars that go overlooked like the paintjobs, detailing, customization just everything little about the car usually goes overlooked and that little piece usually took the most time to accomplish.

Another thing you might be able to do is set up a TV and VCR so that you can actually show people a part that you installed and how you did and how long it took you to do it. This is something that will not go overlooked and something that could actually make you some money. You selling videos of installed parts and showing people how to do exactly just that might just make you some pocket change.

You might also have pictures to show the process at a stand still since some of the time you get stuck on a step and it is hard to overcome them sometimes. You might even have sequences done to show exactly how a part was installed and exactly what force it took to get the part installed on the car you are looking at.

Another thing is if you are willing to speak and tell about your car at a car show then that is another plus on your part because many people don't like to talk and answer millions of questions about their cars all day everyday at a car show. Many people come to the car show for the contests and contests only and don't even like to speak or talk until the contest is over because they might be busy still building a part of their car or at least working on it. That is why it can be imperative that you be kind to those car owners because you never know who or which kind of owner you will run into but usually they are kind and are willing to answer any questions that you may have.

Before you set up your little show in front of your car you will need to go talk with the organizers and be sure to tell them and show them that it is not going to harm anyone which I'm sure it isn't because it's just a car show, but if its going to be something like running the quarter mile in under 6 seconds then they might have a problem with you going speeds over 200mph on their drag strip. You just need to be sure to make sure its ok before you give your show.
