City of Cocoa Beach: A Fabulous Attraction

By: Vivek Kuriyal
... are at Cape Canaveral (to the north of Cocoa Beach) or Melbourne (To the south), never forget to pay a visit to this elegant beach—it is very nearby from both the fabulous destinations. Atlantic Ocean has got an edge over Gulf of Mexico when it comes to surfing in the water. The shallow nature of beaches on the Gulf of Mexico is good for swimming; however, you hardly can afford to surf over here.

Atlantic Ocean beaches are suitable for the excitement of surfing. Cocoa Beach is one of the some very nice beaches which offer tremendous opportunities to surfboard riders. The major advantage of Cocoa Beach is that it is very less crowded. This beach is populated primarily by retired families and many workers from nearby NASA space launch facility. The beach stretches up to 30 miles. Cocoa Beach is known for its fabulous restaurants, bistros and shops. The two surrounding areas Cape Canaveral and Melbourne feature more sources of entertainment. Just a few miles from the beach, Cape Canaveral is a famous embarkation point. It is also best known for the NASA John F. Kennedy Space Center. Ten miles from Cocoa Beach is the small city of Melbourne where NASA workers, military families and other Florida residents reside.
