Her web site is devoted to cats, and the people coming to her site spend a lot of money taking care of their pets. If you are selling a product or service on the Internet right now, then forming an affiliate network is natural. Figure out how much of your profit you can afford to pay affiliates and be generous. If you are making it worth their while, these people will bring you free business. No advertising or marketing costs involved at all. And if you can find affiliate programs that will pay you a fair percentage for promoting them and they complement your business, then by all means become an affiliate.
