Short Term Bridging Loan: a Cover-up for your Cash Shortages

By: Eva Baldwyn

Stuck in the mid of a property deal due to shortage of cash? Property deals involve large amounts of money to be invested. If you have fallen short of money due to any reason, do not worry about losing the property. You can still avail the money through short term bridging loan and complete your deal.

A is a loan that is borrowed for a short span of time and is secured by nature. To avail this loan, the borrower is required to pledge the property that he is about to buy with the money. Also, the loan is an interest-only loan which means that the borrower is just required to pay the interest during the term and the principal amount is to be paid when the borrower arranges the money.

This loan is of two types based on the status of the sale deed of the earlier property of the borrower. If the older property of the borrower has already been sold and just a delay in the receipt of the cash is causing the shortage of money, then the closed end form of the loan can be borrowed. In this form, the borrower can repay the loan amount in a very short duration as soon as he receives it.

Another form of the loan called the open end form is available for those borrowers who have not yet sold their older property but plan to do it very soon. The borrowers have a term of 1-12 months to repay the loan and can thus sell their property in that time comfortably.

This loan is also available to those borrowers who are suffering from a bad credit history since it can be created very easily for anybody. Rates are higher for them while borrowing, but low rate deals can also be availed easily by researching through the online mode.

A short term bridging loan makes it possible to give shape to your property deals even in the times that you are short of cash amounts for them.
