Details of the Vaya Prepaid MasterCard Application

If you are looking for a great pre-paid credit card then you will want to know the details of the Vaya Prepaid MasterCard application. Issued by BANKFIRST, the Vaya Prepaid MasterCard has many great options for you. If you have poor credit or no credit at all or you have difficulty getting a standard unsecured credit card, then you will likely get the most benefit from this card.

You do not have to have a bank account to obtain this card but you will be required to pay in advance on the card for future purchases made with the card. You can have advance payments taken directly from your paycheck or direct deposited from your employer into your credit card account for making purchases if you choose. This keeps your money safe and makes it easier to use your card at participating locations.

However, you do need to know that there are some fees which are associated with this card. There is an application fee of $49 if paid online and monthly fees of $5.95 ($71.40 a year). If you are trying to establish credit by using this card, it will not benefit you as they do not report to a credit bureau. The card is simply a way for you to keep and use your own money.

However, the card also has fewer qualifications than other unsecured credit cards. There are no credit checks, no security deposits, and no employment requirements. The only requirement is a verifiable address in the United States. The card has a referral program which is another little bonus. They will pay you $25 to each referral that activates their card as well so it benefits you to tell family and friends.

Additional cards are $5 each and there is no annual fee after the initial set-up fee but you are charged the monthly participation fee. There is no minimum or maximum credit limit as it is a prepaid card. There is a $1.50 charge on ATM transactions used for cash advances ($3.50 for international ATMs). There is no minimum deposit but there is a maximum deposit amount of $2,500.
