I Love My New HD Antenna Viewing!

By: Jim Williams

The Sopranos is a outstanding show. I can't tell you how much I live vicariously through the families on this show. The best part about is that I can observe it in high definition because the high definition station A&E just started playing the episodes which used to only be on HBO.

The other great thing about it is I don't have to pay anything extra for my high quality picture channels. I recently purchased an antenna that looks like a picture frame and gives me the crisp clear image I love about high definition TV.

I heard about it from my neighbor. She said that her husband found it and tried it out in their RV. When they were travelling the country on their vacation they said that it was awesome how a little frame could get such great reception.

They went through the back roads of Arkansas, Tennesee, and Nebraska with no occurrence in their signal. The best thing about it for them is that since it is a picture frame, it's also a nice piece of dacor in their RV. So I decided since I have a high definition tv I would give it a try.

I bought one and hung it on my wall. As soon as I turned on the tv, it picked up all the stations in high quality picture. The next time Sopranos came on; I was so excited because it was so much fun watching it with the vivid display.

The colors are so luminous that the people look like they are coming out of the screen. When there are action scenes, you really feel you are part of the action. It's simply awing. I inserted a picture of my family and me at our last vacation in Niagara Falls in the picture frame antenna.

No one even notices that it is an antenna; they just comment on the beautiful image and move on. Last week I had a few people over and my tv was a hit. I rented several movies and everyone was affixed to the screen.

Many people even jumped at the horror movie I rented, it looked that real! I wish they had come out with this a long time ago because it's definitely worth the investment of the television and antenna.

Next year, I will be able to see all of my shows in high definition because of the big switching happening on February 17, 2009. I can hardly wait!
