Scuola Grande di San Marco

Located in the vicinity of Campo San Giovanni e Paolo that is among the largest plazas in the city, the Scuola Grande di San Marco is a beautiful tourist attraction of Venice. The building once used to serve as the residential building to one of the six chief sodalities better known as Scuole Grandi of the city. Erected in the year 1260, this building got destroyed in a fire in the year 1485 and was then reconstructed again after twenty years.
