Your innate desire to come on home to the heart of this "you" of you that you somehow know and intuit to be alluding your grasp, is the only thing that is going to draw you out of being lost within the illusion that is perpetuated and sustained by you - you trying to be something that is notyou on a moment by moment basis.
It is an activity that you are actively and currently involved in, albeit unconsciously.
Without you being consciously aware of this drive to simply be who you already are you have no choice but to suffer for you will do nothing differently to what you are currently up to. Who you think you are is a motion of pain and suffering. That is what this activity of trying to be who you think you are begets. This is why you are suffering.
You believe yourself to be who you think you are and you are not. Your belief is not "you". You are not who you think you are, that is not who you are.
You think you are who you think you are because you do not realize who you already are. You are attached to the idea of who you think you are for many reasons, there are great forces of resistance in play that work really strongly in favour of you not standing freely as the one that "you" truly are.
There is the power that the mind has grown to luxuriate in by you trying to be this mind informed mindbody that you are only and actually flowing through. This "you" is what is flowing through the eyes of this mindbody that you find yourself flowing through, but you know it not because of your belief in who you think you are.
Primarily you believe yourself to be the running commentary of a mind that you take to be your guidance in life and after that, you believe yourself to be this body that you find yourself intimately involved with. You suffer the fears and the desires that this mind of yours has you believing, even down to you fearing to be who you are.
You desire from things that which they cannot deliver. You desire what is less than "you". When you begin to realize this "you" of you then you will understand that this "you" is that from which all arises.
You are already that which gives life to all. This beingness of "you" will have you no longer begging for something less than who "you" already are. You will already be moving from the place of contentment, of fulfilment.
To be this "you" of you requires you to consciously align your focus of attention to that which is already flowing through the eyes of this mindbody that you find yourself flowing through, moment by moment.
Who "you" are is this very motion of seeing that is flowing through your eyes right now.
You are to find this flow of aliveness and you are to stop at and as this one that is flowing through, for you to be this you. Stopping and dropping what was never true of you - leaving alone the attempt to try and be what you are only flowing through - and the seeing and being of who "you" are - this one that is flowing through your eyes.
Coming to being deeply at rest in and as this one through this practice of no longer furthering out from where "you" already are. This is what will have being the freedom that is already true of you and realizing just how great this "you" of you is.
